T-Mobile Scuttle $1:50 Per Paper Bill Gouging Plan, For Now

T-Mobile delays $1:50 Per Paper Bill Charge
In a message posted on a T-Mobile forum, it say that they have postponed the enforced paperless transition. The plan was to have come to be on September 12th but there were too many complains, in the forum and and elsewhere on the web. Even there were class action law suits were discussed.
I think it is honorable to save trees T-Mobile, but instead of trying to gouge people, you could have done it much better and had a positive PR campaign behind it. Fire your PR creeps and hire some new.
If I were you, I would have offered 100 min or any other incentive to people who chose to go paperless, followed with PR campaign to show how green is T-Mobile.
Opportunity lost. Now it smells like a burned up port-a-potty in San Francisco.

Paper Bill Charge T-Mobile Statement

T-Mobile is committed to encouraging customers to make the move to paperless billing. It’s a great alternative to paper and better for the environment.
Since the announcement we’ve heard everything from kudos to concerns about the move to paperless especially from our customers who today are receiving paper bills at no charge.

So, we’ve decided to not charge our customers a paper bill fee for now. Instead, we'll be taking more time to determine the fairest way possible to encourage people to go paperless.
Customers can still visit my.t-mobile.com to sign up for paperless billing.

We thank our customers for their patience and appreciate people letting us know how they feel about this important topic.
