iPhone 4 Going To China http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Apple® announced today that iPhone® 4 is coming to China beginning Saturday, September 25 at 8:00 a.m. at Apple Retail Stores. These stores include the new Apple Store® Hong Kong Plaza in Shanghai and the new Apple Store Xidan Joy City in Beijing opening on the same day. And of course it will also be available at China Unicom retail stores for qualified buyers with a new two year contract. Perhaps China Unicom will be able to further bump it's rank among the global mobile carriers
iPhone 4 carries the same specs as that of other iPhone 4 versions and what is not clear is if the imperfect antenna of iPhone 4 has been fixed. Other wise users will need to get a iPhone bumper too! But unlike the iPhone 3G which had the WIFi disabled by China Unicom, this version of the iPhone has it enabled.
iPhone 4 will cost CNY4,999 for the 16GB model and CNY5,999 for 32GB model without a contract. At China Unicom stores, iPhone 4 will be available for qualified buyers with a new two year contract, sold separately. Pricing and tariff information please visit www.10010.com. But the pricing seems to be even crazier than bumble bees path, even if you could understand Chinese, you will need an expert to explain the plans and their costs.
At this price Foxconn employees, who makes iPhones for dirt cheap salaries might not be able to afford one.
The new Apple Store Hong Kong Plaza is located at 282 Huaihai Zhong Road, Shanghai. The new Apple Store Xidan Joy City is located in the Joy City shopping center at 131 North Xidan Avenue, Beijing. For more information please visit www.apple.com.cn.
