Sometimes people want to prove a point but this is is much better way than screaming in forums. South Africa's largest Telecom carrier, Telkom is being pitted against a homing pigeon.
The task is to move 4GB worth of data between two points, Howick to Gillits, which are about 50 miles apart.
The official site testing pigeon protocol has a notebook as the price to any one who is capable of predicting the outcome, if possible down to seconds or miliseconds.
So I think people who are familiar with the telkom might have a better chance of predicting than those of us who are on fat pipes!
