A German court has out lawed the VoIP application
Sipgate, on iPhone. Sipgate allows users to make
VoIP calls when they are on a wireless network by passing the carriers expensive voice lines. According to
Cellular News, Higher Regional Court of Hamburg favored of T-Mobile, iPhone's exclusive carrier in Germany, against Sipgate. T-Mobile filled suit saying that Sipgate had used "unfair business practices" in order to attract customers, who are tied to T-Mobile for voice calls. What a way to curb iPhone sales.
Anyone with a phone with VoIP? Nokia, how about a Germany exclusive!
