Are Carriers And OEMs Messing With Android Progress?

#Samsung #T-Mobile #Android Progress http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
We are in the lookout for the the best Android phone, to replace our iPhones that are nearing the end of contract with AT&T. But with the games Android Carriers and OEMs are playing, may keep us with Apple and iPhones for two more years.
We will always have Android phones with us, through the developer program, or purchased in open market, like various models of iPhones. But we do have our own personal phones. If an Android fan like me going to buy my next personal phone from Apple, Google has a lot to worry.
Today I was reading at TechCrunch about probability of 90% of iPhone users are on the latest iOS while the probability of an Android user having the latest Android OS is 4%. I knew the rate of adaptation of newer Android OS was low among android uses but never actually the real numbers, or at least as close as possible like these.
But through the article, I found another article about Samsung phones on T-Mobile network not getting OS updates because Samsung wants to sell their newer Samsung Vibrant 4G+.
Some disturbing things have happened the last week or so concerning our “Vibrant”.  Samsung has NOT allowed us to push the update OTA for 2.2 because they feel it will decrease the value of the upcoming Vibrant4G +. While from a marketing aspect i totally understand, as the Vibrant 4G is what the original Vibrant should have been in the 1st place. But to shun off and bold face lie to customers is NOT what T-Mobile is about.

…Being that, Vibrant 4G and Vibrant have exactly same stats, added FFC and a new movie and the 4G. But i will tell you this, the original vibrant CAN utilize 4G FULLY. Yes FULLY. not what they are telling you.

Alright Samsung whether the story is right or wrong, you have three users who will reach for another phone and T-Mobile, you have same number of users, who were really considering signing up with you after seeing the 42 Mbps wireless network, will certainly roost elsewhere. Both for being sly, just to make a buck, in wrong way. But you can clear up the situation and stop losing more customers.
Looks like Google will need to do a lot, to catch up with Apple, in many ways!
The publisher of the article, AndroidSpin is awaiting response from Samsung and T-Mobile. follow the links below for more information.
