iPhone UDID And PinchMedia

iPhone UDID,
The unique Identifier of iPhone, Each iPhone or iPod Touch has a Unique Device Identifier (UDID), which is a sequence of 40 letters and numbers that is specific to your device. It’s like a serial number but much harder to guess. It will look something like this: 2b6f0cc904d137be2e1730235f5664094b831186.

In relation to Pinchmedia Spyware on iPhone and pinchmedia's response made me lookup iPhone UDID, Hey Pinch it is pretty unique!
Pinchmedia published "a hardware identifier not connectable to any personal information", how sure are you?
Anyway this tracking seems to get everywhere and Pinchmedia is not alone. You surf the web, there are bunch of cookies and serverside tracking that reveal most your information. The difference with GPS tracking is that the tracking entity knows exactly where you have been, like your home and work place. And after a few times this happening, I am pretty sure you can dig up more information, if you want to.
It is good that we know now Pinchmedia tracks information and what the track, thanks to someone anonymous. But do you know exactly what other apps you are running are doing?
So it is time to chill and know what you do.

Pinchmedia has a response to the public outcry here.
