Commissioner who spoke at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, explained how the broadband and mobile internet access could reduce the risks run by all people, estimated to be around 45% or 133 million Americans who suffer from some kind of chronic decease
The Commissioner showed how one health care management system, NoMoreClipboard.com, manage, help and treat diabetic patients in a Washington DC. The program localized to Washington-DC track patients weight and glucose levels online. If the patient falls in to high risk levels of either, warning messages are generated helping them to act quickly to attend to the situation and avoid hospitalization.
Healthcare in it's entirety is getting a boost from the development in the broadband access of millions of Americans and now with new initiatives, research and development in Mobile health, or mHealth will help not only Americans but the whole world.
