#Sharp #Galapagos Tablets Releasing Today In Japan. http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Sharp is releasing two models of it's evolutionary tablets (Galapagos Syndrome) in Japan today. The two models are 10.8 inch version with 1366 X 800 screen resolution and the smaller, mobile version, 5.5 inch with 1024 X 600 resolution carries a bit hefty price tags. The smaller mobile Galapagos costs ¥39,800 ($474) and the larger Galapagos cost  ¥54,800 ($653) for the Japanese market.
Even though it is to compete with Apple iPad, the attraction to the Sharp Galapagos is it's eReader capabilities. This will be the one of the first large scale newspaper and magazine delivery for electronic consumption. Some 30,000 newspapers, magazines and books have been lined up forthe launch and an "automatic scheduled delivery" facility will help users get the latest issue's as soon as they are released. I am sure this will be a fun way to read all those Japanese Manga books!
Next year Sharp will offer music, video and games services for the Galapagos Tablets.
