#Digital #Newsstand For Android Devices. http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Looks like Google wants news for itself, or at least us to read news on Android devices. According to WSJ, Google has approached Time Warner, Condé Nast and Hearst, three biggest newspaper and periodical publishing companies, seeking content.
To make it attractive, Google even might offer to take in a smaller percentage of revenue than that of Apple and Amazon, which is said to be 30%.
News Corp., also tried a similar campaign to sign up publishers for an online newsstand where consumers could pay to access digital versions of periodicals media companies. But they shelved the project last fall.
