AT&T Gets Back At Verizon On Ads

AT&T today responded to Verizon ads regarding coverage. I have tried to look at AT&T's coverage map that the press release but there were no maps of 3G coverage, yes I get Edge connectivity. (If AT&T meant 3G by data, good for them). But I still have reception problems here in Bay Area, CA. and waiting for better voice connections!So I know how AT&T coverage works and I do not know how Verizon does because I do not have any personal experiences with them. It does not matter to me how Verizon advertises, (Until my contract runs out! with AT&T)
Oh I like them DROID ads :)  and how the DROID is beating iPhone!

TechCrunch's  Serkan Toto has picked 32 of their favorite games and Apps for the iPhone from Japan. Contrary to popular belief that iPhone is not a hit in Japan, ( If it is not popular, it will be hard to sell these $1000 iPhone cases.) In any case many well known developer companies like  Capcom, Konami, Sega or Namco are developing for iPhone in both Japanese and English.(The TechCrunch list excludes games and apps from these companies to focus on small timers)
I am already hooked on Memory tree, and Samurai Chess. Memory tree is a GPS based photo sharing app and Samurai Chess allows you to challenge computer of your little brother if he is online.
The other 30 are not bad either but I got get out for a brunch! I might find more from the list but for now Ta ta.

It looks like today is iPhone app day. One after one desired apps are in the news and in the App Store.
Yahoo quietly has released the Yahoo Messenger for iPhone. From the comments left on the blog post about it, users seem to love it. I am yet to test it and perhaps this weekend will be the time!
Here are some features of the app;
* When you exit the Yahoo! Messenger app on your iPhone while signed in, you’ll show as available to your friends, so people can IM you
* Buzz notification sound is now more civilized and you could turn Buzz on or offwhen needed. Vibrations are added to Buzz that sent or received and Buzz received while on a conversation with another contact will show up on the screen.
* IM notification sound “shorter and prettier”. Otaku's will love it I guess.
* The addressbook integration works better and both yahoo messanger and iPhone contacts are available withing the app. They also have fixed some bugs.

Apple Tablet Another Bit Of Rumor

Chinese News paper Apple Daily in Taiwan has published (also carried by Dow Jones) that Apple Tablet will be manufactured by Hon HAi Precision Industry Co. (Aka FoxConn, Aka iKiller) and that we might see the tablet, aka 10" iPhone, as early as September this year.

They also reported that Wintek Corp. would supply flat panel screens for the device and that its battery would be built by Dynapack International Technology Corp.

AppleInsider thinks that the report related to Hon Hai may instead reflect the upcoming third generation iPod touch, which could easily be described as a "tablet computer" and is expected to arrive in the September iPod refresh as both previous new generations.

I hope Apple come out and tell us about these stuff, rather than doing AT&Ts bidding, like blocking Google Voice.
